Production Designer Eve McCarney thrives on delving into character to create layered realistic environments that enhance the narrative and engage the viewer. Eve’s television credits include FX's Anthology series American Horror Stories (seasons 1 & 2) produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, Hulu’s Anthology series Into the Dark (season 2) produced by Blumhouse Television, and YT’s Original Liza on Demand (seasons 1 & 2) produced by Deb Kaplan & Harry Elfont. Eve also has experience working in independent films, including A24’s The Ballad of Lefty Brown, Open Road’s The Tank, Lionsgate’s Future World, and Netflix’s Message From the King.

Eve’s love of art history, fine art, and architecture is evident in her approach to each project. Her research skills and keen eye aid her in cultivating a comprehensive design process that both encompasses the characters and the story as a whole. Being a hands-on designer adds depth and imagination to her work while her fierce determination assists in keeping up with stringent production deadlines. Her experience spans multiple genres including science fiction, drama, horror, comedy, and period pieces.

In 2021 Eve was a guest on a panel at Comic-Con Special Edition where she shared insights into her craft and the creative processes behind her anthology work. Her designs have been showcased in numerous film festivals (Tribeca, South by Southwest, and Toronto) and she is a current member of the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, The Art Director’s Guild, and the Production Designer’s Collective.
